And I got a new haircut yesterday... it was... well, to put it in words... so not me, it's something really different and totally doesn't look like what I would have normally... it's very in style and I normally goes for geeky hair...

Anyhow, the main thing here is to put my graduation pictures here..

so there u all goes...

And the Elders came too... haha...

this is the one with some of my family members...

This is actually before the ceremony... my sister snap shot it without me knowing anything...

Here's a typical one... at the Uni door... very messy cos it rained before...

Me outside the hall holding the flowers that I got...

before I end... the good news is that I've been attending Institute again... can't really get myself off the church... it's the true church... :)

Move

I'll be posting more of my blogs at www.matthewtang83.blogspot.com and well, I seldom update here as you all can see is I've stopped going to church for a long deal of time as there's problem with the presidentcy here and members and even the missionaries in Penang have attitude problems... so, well, I think its better off for me to stop going

Wow!!! I met with Michele Baer!!

isn't that great??? Michele Baer (aka Sis. Baer) visited us yesterday (Monday night) and hosted a musical fireside as Family Home Evening for the branch here as her son, Elder Baer just finished his mission in Singapore and they took the chance to visit Penang where her son love the most (as that's what he said when he bore his testimony last night) and they sang wonderful songs and message...

Bro Baer (Elder Baer's Father) gave a good message about staying strong... then Elder Baer sang "Abide with me, 'tis eventide" and it bring tears to many people's eyes as he performed it well and with emotion (as I nearly cried too) and he give thanks to the member here for support and friendship while he was here... and Sis Baer went up giving a good testimony and great message about being an istrument for God... she sang 2 songs... (only... ) and it was good... which is Anchor My Soul in Christ and I know He's there... it again brings much tears to everyone's eyes... after the fireside, she gave away her CD to us... (as it is impossible to buy any church music here in Malaysia unless you travel to US or buy it online... as I never buy stuffs online for I don't have a plastic money... haha... credit card I mean)

Anyhow, here's her site if anyone of you didn't know about her, here's the link to her site... http://www.michelebaermusic.com I love her music a lot, very encouraging, very warm and very personal... just love it...

Here's a pic of me with the Baer family (missing 5 other children of the Baer family as they're not in Penang... hehe... )

sad and tired

Well, I've been really tired as I've been working a lot on assignments and yet pretty sad as someone in the church died...

Well, he's our district presicent's 1st Councilor... anyhow, when I got the news about his suicide, I though it was an attempt to do but I don't believe he'll do that at all... I'm really sad... he leave his wife (which we known her as our Penang Branch's mom) and 2 children (12 years old and 9 years old) I guess it is very unfair to them and yet, it is really shock as he is always so happy and keep coming to church no matter how much problem he seemed to have in life. Anyhow, he even thought a class in Elder's Quorum on Sunday which is really a good lesson being given. According to some church members, they say him the day before he commited suicide and he's acted normally... and this happened the next day afternoon after meeting with our district president... this is really a sad thing that happened in our branch and also for the family. His wife is a woman of strong faith and right now we are all worried about her... we wouldn't know what to do... she's quite close to use Single Adults especially those who're the only member in the family... I was over yesterday night as it is in church. The funeral service will be on tomorrow (Saturday)... I'll be over and I'll try to help in as much as I can... she's also like a mom to me in the church... the worst thing is that she's always keeping the commandments and all she could say yesterday was "why?" I can't think of anything to say... I just told her to stay strong and if there's anything that I can help just let me know and I'll do as much as I can for her. I guess the whole church are working togather for her... I just hope that she won't trip in this thing that happened... as many will... I am very sad now...

Anyhow, all I want to say is "President Ooi, may you rest in peace"

(the late President Ooi)
